A few updates from Surbiton Decca RFC as we look ahead to our next game and continue building the club.
Next Up: Old Walcountians RFC
Our next fixture is just around the corner as we welcome Old Walcountians RFC to Tolworth.
Saturday 10th October
Kick-off: 14:00
Venue: Kingston University Sports Ground, Tolworth
As always, we’d love to see plenty of familiar faces, whether you’re playing or supporting from the touchline.
After the game, we’ll be heading around the corner to our new home base at Surbiton Town Sports Club for a few post-match beers.
If you fancy getting involved on the pitch, please get in touch. New and returning players are always welcome!
20% Off at the Club Shop
Fancy picking up a few Decca accessories?
Between 1st and 4th October, we’re offering 20% off in our club shop.
A great chance to grab a few bits while supporting the club at the same time.
Your Membership Really Matters
We’ve said it before, but every membership makes a genuine difference to what we’re trying to build at Surbiton Decca RFC.
As we look to grow the club, we also want to demonstrate to organisations like the RFU that we’re a club worth supporting and investing in. One important part of that is showing that we have a strong and growing membership base behind us.
Membership helps us organise fixtures, put on events like our recent game and BBQ, cover running costs and plan for the future.
And we think it’s pretty good value too!
- Playing Membership – just £30
- Social Membership – just £10
Whether you play every game, manage one or two a season, or simply want to remain part of the Decca family, your membership counts.
If you enjoyed our recent matchday and the afternoon back at Surbiton Town Sports Club, it’s your support that makes days like those possible.
Every member makes us a stronger club, both on and off the pitch.
Coming up: A few Social Dates for your Diary
It’s not all about what happens on the pitch! We’ve got a few opportunities to get everyone together over the coming months.
First up is the DOGS (Decca Old Gits Society) Annual Christmas Lunch on Saturday 5th December at The Boot & Flogger in London. Open to anyone who has pulled on a Decca shirt over the years, it’s always a great chance to catch up with old teammates, enjoy some good food and revisit a few stories from years gone by. Email Roland to find out more details.
We’ll also be getting together at Surbiton Town Sports Club to watch England in the Nations Championship this autumn. A perfect excuse to enjoy some international rugby, a few beers and good company without having to put your own boots on!
Keep an eye on our social channels and WhatsApp group for further details. We’d love to see as many of you involved as possible.
Thanks as always for your continued support. See you on the 10th!
